Acrylux PU 550 Acrylic, aliphatic polyurethane paint

ACRYLUX PU 550 is a two-component, acrylic, aliphatic polyurethane paint.

It is recommended for use on interior and exterior primed metal surfaces exposed to moderate to highly corrosive environments. It can be used as a topcoat in various anti-corrosion systems for protection according to ISO EN 12944, C2 Very High to C4 Low. It has very good gloss and color retention as well as resistance to exposure.

Application Instructions

Surfaces must be clean, dry and free from oil and other deposits that will prevent or affect adhesion.

Before applying the substrate: surfaces must be assessed and treated accordingly, sandblasting to Sa2½ (EN ISO 8501-1:2007) is recommended, while surfaces to be prepared by hand should be prepared to a minimum of St3 (EN ISO 8501-1:2007) at the time of application.

For DFT 40-60μm, the application is done in one coat. Its composition allows the intended thickness to be achieved in one coat without running during application.
