Diamond Liquid Glass

Transparent self-leveling epoxy resin of two components without solvents or water, suitable for creating decorative surfaces of high aesthetics on horizontal surfaces. Due to absence of solvents it does not smell when applied. After its polymerization, it acquires great resistance to solvents, acids and chemical compounds.

TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS

Decor Pearl Shades

Special coloring pigment that gives a metallic look with craters. It paints the epoxy resin by adding the Decor Pearl in a ratio of 0.5% to 5% and stir slowly to avoid foaming.

Liquid Glass

Because DIAMOND Liquid Glass is self-leveling, in any case a suitable “mold” must be provided around the perimeter of the application surface to hold the resin.

SURFACES

The application surface must be flat, dry and free of dust, grease and loose materials. On the floors we must be sure that they are not subject to rising humidity.

CEMENT MORTARS

The quality of the concrete must be at least C20 / 25 with a <content of 350kg / m³, humidity<4% and the application must take place at least 30 days after the construction of the surface.

CAUTION

Component B is completely added to A from a low height and mixed for about 2-3 minutes with a hand stirrer or at very low revolutions (up to 250 rpm) to avoid air entrapment.

CAUTION

Leave the mixture for another 2-3 minutes and proceed with the application, emptying it from a low height on our surface. If we want to add pigment or glitter we do it in component A before mixing with B.

CAUTION

We prefer thicknesses up to 5mm so that any bubbles that have been created can emerge. If bubbles form immediately after application, break them with a hot air device or torch.

CAUTION

Time for minor corrections up to about 50 minutes. Our surface for at least 5-6 hours should not come in contact with moisture / humidity. Light scattering after 24-36 hours while normal at 72 hours.
