Aquafinish-PU 556

AQUAFINISH-PU 556 is a two-component, water-soluble, acrylic, aliphatic polyurethane varnish.

It is recommended for use on interior and exterior surfaces of pressed cement mortars, concrete, wood, natural stone and epoxy paint for the reinforcement, waterproofing, modification of gloss and protection of these surfaces.

Application Instructions

Surfaces must be clean, dry and free of oily substances and deposits of other materials which will prevent or affect adhesion.

Mixing of components

Component B is added to component A and the mixture is thoroughly mixed for approximately 5 minutes, diluted as appropriate, left for approximately 10 minutes to remove trapped air, and then applied within 2 (max) hours.

Application

– For DFT up to 20μm, the application is done in one layer.

– For general use, the application of 2 layers is recommended.

– In particular, the application of 4 layers is recommended on floors, on surfaces that will receive mechanical stress and on surfaces that are in a high humidity environment.

– From layer to layer, a minimum of 4-6 hours are needed depending on temperature and humidity conditions.
