Heat resistant paint
Heat resistant paint, based on modified silicon resin.
Resistant to temperatures up to 650ºC.
Suitable for the coating of metallic surfaces that can be heated up to 650ºC, like furnaces, boilers, high temperature reactors etc.
Application Instructions
- Stir well before use.
- Surfaces must be clean, dry, and free of contaminants like dust, rust etc.
- Sandblast is preferable as surface preparation where possible, else, scrubbing with a wire-brush or sandpaper will suffice.
Note:
- Heat resistance is achieved after two coatings.
- Prolonged Storage (over 12 months), as well as storage in spaces with temperature conditions exceeding 30ºC must be avoided, as the paint polymerizes.
