Tetramastic 960 Epoxy primer for glossy surfaces
TETRAMASTIC 960 is a two-component, high-build vinyl-epoxy primer with excellent adhesion properties on multiple surfaces.
It is recommended for use:
– On smooth-gloss inorganic surfaces such as glass, ceramic tiles, marble, old mosaic floors etc.,
– On stainless steel, galvanized steel, aluminum, copper and other metals.
– On properly prepared galvanized steel surfaces for new metal constructions. It can be used as part of various anti-corrosion systems for protection according to ISO EN 12944, class C2 High to C5 Very High.
Application Instructions
Surfaces must be clean, dry and free of oily substances and deposits of other materials which will prevent or affect adhesion.
Prior to application, surfaces must be assessed and treated accordingly.
After applying TETRAMASTIC 960, the surface is sealed with a suitable topcoat (recommended products below).
In case the recoating time needs to be extended, the surfaces must be stored indoors and away from the effects of sunlight.
Apply one layer for DFT 60-120μm. Its composition allows the required thickness to be achieved in one layer without sagging during application.
