Tetrazinc 440 Two component epoxy primer

Surfaces should be clean, dry and free from oil, grease and deposits of salts or other materials that could prevent or affect the adhesion.

Before application, surfaces must be evaluated and treated accordingly.

Suggested preparation

Sandblasting to Sa2½ level (EN ISO 8501-1:2007) is recommended, while for surfaces to be prepared by hand they should be prepared to a minimum St3 level (EN ISO 8501-1:2007) at the time of painting. After applying TETRAZINC 440, the surface is sealed with a suitable coating. In case the recoating time needs to be extended, the surfaces must be stored indoors and away from the effects of sunlight.

Application

Apply one layer for DFT 60-80μm. Its composition allows the required thickness to be achieved in one layer without sagging during application.
