Epoprimer SOL 242 Epoxy Primer containing fast evaporating solvents
EPOPRIMER SOL 242 is two components, transparent epoxy primer containing fast evaporating low odor solvents.
It is used for priming cement-based surfaces (floors) which will be painted with EPOLUX SL 542 or will be coated with EPOLUX FLOOR 640. It is suitable for industrial areas, crafts, warehouses, bog stores, hotels, garages, high traffic areas, car workshops, etc.
Application Instructions
- Stir well before use
- Surfaces must be clean, dry and free from foreign objects and substances.
Surface preparation
- The quality of the concrete must be at least C20 / 25 with a cement content of 350 kg / m3, moisture content <4% and application must be carried out at least 30 days after the construction of the surface.
- Depending on the nature of the substrate, appropriate pre-treatment should be performed, such as brushing, grinding, sandblasting, water blasting, shot blasting, etc. Then, the surface should be cleaned from dust with a high suction vacuum cleaner.
Application
On cementious surface prime using EPOPRIMER SOL 242 in one layer by roller or brush. Application of EPOLUX SL 542 or EPOLUX FLOOR 640 must be done within 24 hours after priming.
